Warm & Cozy Yarn Shop

This is a long post but fun…my full time job is at Dept. 56 THE original home of beloved lit Christmas Villages. Last year after an art ideation meeting I was asked if I had any ideas for Village buildings and I quickly said “how about a yarn shop?” It was noted on the long list and low and behold they moved forward with the piece but unbeknownst to me they finished the details “highlighting” me with the front sign “Madame Prince, Proprietor” and the lessons sign “Ask for Teri”. That also may be me being crowned winner of the Ugly Christmas Sweater contest? The details on this hand painted ceramic building are amazing! The acrylic window that just glows from the inside out, beautiful sisal wreath and potted trees and the snow capped skeins of yarn atop the front building corners! I added a few of my own “test” crochet trees. Would love feedback and mostly on the collage pic of tree toppers or no? Stay true to yarn or a little if both? Teri Prince
